The Saskatchewan Association for Safe Workplaces in Health (SASWH) has implemented online tools which will support a provincial violence prevention strategy in the province. The Provincial Healthcare Violence Prevention Framework video will include a high level overview of the application of the Violence Toolkit.
This will also include the step-by-step processes for completing the Violence Prevention Framework and a workplace risk assessment(s) for physical environment, department/unit and individual/client. The overviews of the application of the Workplace Violence Risk Assessment tools are aligned to The Saskatchewan Employment Act, Part 3- 21, The Occupational Health and Safety Regulations, 1996, Section 37, and Accreditation Canada.
