2018 AGM Speakers and Presenters

Value Safety, Value You

SASWH is excited to present keynote speakers Allan Kehler and Garrison Wynn to its Annual General Meeting and Education Conference on March 22, 2018, in Regina.

Morning Keynote Speaker - Allan Kehler

Our Voice is our Greatest Tool

ALLAN KEHLER:  is a highly sought-after speaker who aims to empower his audience to live opposed to exist.  Allan spent a significant amount of his life persevering through mental health issues and addictions. On the outside, people saw the man who was president of his school, athlete of the year and national scholarship winner. However, on the inside was a man who was in pain. A university professor saw beneath the mask and changed Allan’s life through a simple process. Allan shares this approach in his message and reassures his audience that nobody needs to be fixed. Rather, the value of being seen and heard is immeasurable.

His first book Stepping Out from the Shadows: A Guide to Understanding & Healing from Addictions has been incorporated into college curricula. Allan’s writing has been published in countless national magazines and he has also been featured on several television and radio programs.

Afternnoon Keynote Speaker - Garrison Wynn

Influencing Safety?

How do you move safety through your organization? How do you get buy-in?

How do you get people to do what you want them to do regardless of the circumstances?

GARRISON WYNN: Garrison is authentic – a guy who’s been there. He’s a chemical plant explosion survivor who has developed environmental safety products still in use worldwide. He expertly fuses his experiences into key takeaways such as how to build the trust and relationships that make consistent safety a reality. He delivers those takeaways using a humorous approach that will have serious impact on participants. He will get people laughing, learning and motivated to create a culture of safety while maintaining productivity. This program focuses on developing the personal influence to make things stick, whether you’re helping leaders move change through their locations or getting workers to look out for each other on the job site.
