Lori has been a healthcare worker for the past 24 years, and involved in OH&S for most of that time. She previously was the Co-Chair of the OH&S committee at Quill Plains Centennial Lodge in Watson and is a past member of the SAHO Healthcare Sector Safety Association (HSAC).  Lori is currently the Chair of the SEIU-WEST Worker Safety Committee, Chair of the Saskatchewan Federation of Labour’s (SFL's) OH&S and WCB committees, an Executive Officer for the SFL (Treasurer), an active board member of the Saskatchewan Occupational Health & Safety Council, and is a committee member of Ban Asbestos Saskatchewan. 

She has facilitated many courses on OH&S including Level 1 through the OH&S Branch.  Lori also worked on the campaign to bring legislation for Safety Engineered Devices.  Lori wants to ensure that SASWH is accessible, reliable and becomes a recognizable part of all healthcare workers' lives by being proactive in the prevention of injuries.  Lori believes that employees should be able to return home from work every single day, safe and healthy, and that it is important employers are committed to preventing injuries in the workplace.
