Tammy Martins

Executive Director, Quality & Safety, Saskatchewan Health Authority

For over 20 years, Tammy has dedicated herself to quality improvement in the healthcare, education, financial services, and manufacturing industries. No matter the arena, Tammy has been a committed leader with a passion for transformative change and continuous improvement that makes a meaningful difference in the lives of others.

Tammy has served as a Kaizen Operations Team Lead, Kaizen Fellow, and the Director of Home Care for the former Saskatoon Health Region. Prior to joining the Saskatchewan Health Authority, she held the position of Chief Business Transformation and Strategy Officer with TCU Financial Group and was responsible for Human Resources, Systems, Information Technology, Facilities, and Strategy.

Tammy graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Athabasca University and completed her Master’s in Business Administration from Royal Roads University (2012). She is a Six Sigma Blackbelt, certified Lean Leader, Project Management Professional (PMP) and in 2021 she received her Certified Chief Executive (CCE) designation
