WCB announced at the Preliminary Industry Rate meeting held in Regina on Monday October 21, 2014 a positive improvement in regards to safety in the workplace. The projected premium rate at the Board Level for 2015 is the lowest it’s been in three decades at $1.46. Specific to the healthcare industry; the premium rate for 2015 is anticipated to be $1.98. The lowest it has been in six years. This is a 2.9% decrease from the 2014 rate of $2.04. Read Full Story.
