The Saskatchewan Association for Safe Workplaces in Health (SASWH) is an independent not-for-profit organization and is funded by a portion of the premiums that healthcare employers pay into the Saskatchewan Workers’ Compensation Board. SASWH works with Saskatchewan healthcare employers and workers, providing safety training, consulting, and resources to reduce workplace risks and prevent occupational injuries and illnesses.
SASWH has secured a license agreement with the Public Services Health and Safety Association of Ontario for the use of the Workplace Violence Risk Assessment tool, Client Risk Assessment tool and Community Care tools. This section of the SASWH website is developed for employers and employees in the healthcare industry to identify risk factors and levels associated with workplace violence.
This privacy policy (the “Policy”) describes the purposes for which SASWH collects, uses, and discloses “personal information” you elect to provide to SASWH electronically, through the website. In the Policy, “Personal information” means information that identifies an individual, including you, but does not include the name, title or business address or telephone number of an employee of an organization.
SASWH respects and upholds the privacy of the users of its website in the highest regard, and as such all information submitted or provided to SASWH via the website will be used solely for the e-distribution of newsletters, industry and OH&S updates and legislation changes. Also, to notify subscribers of upcoming events, training, services, and surveys offered by SASWH.
